Launched by Barclays in February 2012, Pingit is a mobile peer to peer payment service open to anyone with a UK bank account or any small business that banks with Barclays. The basic premise of Pingit, is that it is a brand made for modern people living modern lives – moving money at the speed of life.
As well as helping to craft the overall concept, Start worked closely with Barclays to define Pingit as a targeted, differentiated and relevant brand in an increasingly crowded marketplace. Our work included brand positioning, naming, brand identity creation and UX design. Pingit is at the vanguard of the Barclays overall proposition, ensuring that the bank maintains its leadership position in a world of change.
